Abstract


Changes in dimensions in delivering da'wah are influenced by advances in digital technology. This raises its own problems and challenges for local ulama' in conveying their preaching. The aim of this research is to analyze the da'wah methods applied by local ulama to the millennial generation in an effort to form an Islamic generation. This research uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive analysis approach. Data sources were obtained from literature studies and interview. The results of this research indicate that the da'wah method delivered by KH. Ahmad Badawi Basyir integrates da'wah by keeping up with current developments. However, in its implementation there are problems and challenges related to the mobility of digital media or social media which is very dynamic and difficult to control. Therefore, K.H Ahmad Badawi Basyir answered this challenge by preaching bil hikmah wa mauidhotil hasanah in an effort to form an Islamic generation in Kudus. Apart from that, it also takes advantage of advances in digital technology while still paying attention to the boundaries set by Islamic teachings.
