Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of Denison's Organizational Culture Model in strengthening the Student Activity Unit of the Sunan Kudus Campus Da'wah Institution. The UKM LDK plays a vital role in the spiritual and character development of students, but faces challenges such as low member engagement, lack of involvement in succession planning, and internal conflicts. The Denison Model was chosen as a framework because it identifies four pillars of culture strongly correlated with organizational performance: Involvement, Consistency, Adaptability, and Mission. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, obtaining data through interviews, observations, and documentation with the chairman of the LDK Student Activity Unit at UIN Sunan Kudus as the subject. The research findings indicate that the LDK Student Activity Unit has successfully implemented the four dimensions of the Denison model. Involvement is evident from the active participation of members in planning and implementing programs, as well as the presence of leadership training and open discussion forums. Consistency is emphasized through strong religious and Islamic core values, as well as the AD/ART guidelines. Adaptability is demonstrated through the use of digital platforms and programs relevant to current issues. Lastly, the organization's mission is clear: to spread Islamic teachings in fostering prophetic leadership, actively communicated by its leaders. Overall, the implementation of the Denison Model has made the UKM LDK UIN Sunan Kudus a solid and adaptive organization. This strong organizational culture not only supports the success of da'wah programs but also contributes to shaping students with strong character and integrity.
